Thanks to Rob and Brian!

I brokered with Ironclad transport to have the car delivered from Wichita, KS for $900. I thought this was steep but learned that in the spring, auto-trading and transport normally picks up in intensity.  With demand high comes higher prices. 

Dave, the broker for the seller, from European Car in Wichita, KS called me after the transport company had come to pick the car up. He said that although the weather looked good for the next couple of days he had taped up the top. He also added that the rig the guys were driving was in really rough shape. His guys had to push the car up onto the trailer, and he hoped it made it east with no issues.

A couple days later, the TR6 arrived on a three car trailer pulled by a Dodge Ram with a 5th wheel and dualies that had, as Dave described, seen better days. Three guys who had been shift driving emerged from the cab to unload the car. The hydraulic brakes on the car were non-functional and their winch was broken. So, when the driver dumped it off the trailer the mufflers struck the ground.

Ugh, really? Guess he had no idea how to use the hand brake? 

They pushed the car into the garage for me.  Trevor was ecstatic to see the car and start wrenching!
